Because it works.
40,000-60,000 thoughts per day run through the information highway called our brain. We are exposed to a tremendous amount of information in many different forms. Those impressions get stored in our emotional warehouse till we start experiencing stress related illnesses as a way the body responds often known as fight or flight. Cortisol, Glucagon and Adrenaline are the 3 big stressor hormones our body produces as a result of the response that the stress produces It leads to high blood pressure and diabetes along with risk of stroke and heart attack.
Here are some tips to help you get destressifyed
Limit your time on social media and news to 1 hour per day max!
Take walks in nature We have a lot of parks and if it’s too hot join a gym
Go to bed and wake up the same time everyday no matter what day it is. If sleep is a problem, make an appointment with Paul for a Sleep Study. I am sleeping perfect for almost 10 years. Your sleep pattern can change so get that looked at.
Keeping a gratitude journal and making a list every night for things you are grateful for 10 is a good start but do more there is so much to be grateful for.
