Incredible Cranberry & Pomegranate Energy Balls
Cranberry & Pomegranate Energy Balls make the perfect healthy snack.
1 cup Dried Cranberries
1 cup Old Fashioned Oats
1/2 Flax Seeds
1/2 cup Almonds
2 tablespoons Honey
* Clean the pomegranate seeds from half of a pomegranate. Making sure to remove the pith (the inside white part that sticks to the seeds). You can do this by placing the seeds in a bowl and filling it with water. The pith will rise to the top.
* Add the dried cranberries, oats, flax seeds, almonds and honey to a food processor and process until it looks like a paste and a ball can be formed. If it is not paste like enough add in another 1/4 cup of cranberries and a tablespoon of honey.
* In order to create the balls with the pomegranate added, you'll need to make sure the pomegranates are dried off from being cleaned and then add them to the paste mixture.
* Squeeze the pomegranates into the balls and make tablespoon size balls.
